Dr Andrea Lee

Dr. Andrea Lee joined the Fairmount Animal Hospital team in 2002 after her graduation from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. In addition to her DVM degree, Dr. Lee also has a Bachelor’s degree (BA) in Biological Sciences from Goucher College and a Master’s degree (MS) in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell University.
Dr. Lee resides in Syracuse. She shares her home with two Brittany Spaniels; Whiskey a.k.a. CH MACH CATCH Top Shelf’s Crown Royal MXF MAD, and Journey a.k.a. Millette’s Don’t Stop Believin’. Dr. Lee’s major professional interest is in veterinary behavior. She is a member of the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior and regularly pursues continuing education in this area.
When she is not working Dr. Lee enjoys dog performance sports, especially Agility but Obedience and Tracking as well. Her dog Whiskey competes in Agility on a national level in multiple venues. She also enjoys playing and hiking with her dogs, cross country skiing, running, photography, reading, cross-stitch, and crossword and Sudoku puzzles.
