Your pet's best birthday present might be its annual check-up, and it would be an easy day for you to remember!

Special Care for mature pets

Fairmount Animal Hospital has recently installed a Dental X-ray unit, which enables our staff to more accurately x-ray the jaw and teeth and even small bones. This will allow us to assess the health of individual teeth to determine if extraction is needed or if other techniques should be employed to save the tooth. Techniques such as restorations and root canals can be used in the appropriate circumstances. In some instances, we use our video endoscope to assist us in tending to our patients dental needs. All our dentistry cases are discharged with a before and after photo of the dental treatments.
